Tropical Glamping in Nusapenida
from Airbnb website
This is hands down one of the most beautiful airbnbs in Bali. Nestled hundreds of feet from the ocean and smack dab in nature is this Tropical Glamping Paradise. This place is so secluded its only accessible by scooter. This view is to die for and you don’t want to miss it! Book this Airbnb and you will not be disappointed!
Location & Price Point:
This is located in Nusapenida, an island located southeast of Bali. In order to get to Nusapenida you do have to take a speedboat which takes about an hour. It is five minutes away from the most iconic beaches, Diamond Beach, Atuh Beach, and Rumah Pohon tree house.
The price for this in my opinion is a steal! This Airbnb is on the pricier side for Bali, but this place anywhere else in the world would run for at least $800-1000 a night. This runs for $275/night and varies slightly on time of year. It’s such a unique experience with beautiful views that are once in a lifetime. For the amenities provided this is totally worth it!
Luxury Feel:
This is a nature lovers dream. This place allows you to be fully immersed in nature but having the comfort of a warm bed, shower, and great amenities. This is an open walled concept allowing you to take in the ocean views from the comfort of your bed. Keep in mind you are still in nature so you will see insects and animals. It wasn’t anything other then typical bugs so it didn’t really bother us! There is a roller blind and an awning that allow you to close up the room when you are ready to go to bed. The name of this airbnb is the Salty Palm and it fits its description perfectly. They killed it with the decor giving it a beachy, airy feel. The outdoor shower is amazing. The bathroom is half covered by natural wood and a grass roof. After a full day at the beach you can come back, shower, throw on your robe, and just relax!
Unique Experience:
The best part about this place in my opinion is definitely the unique experience. This is a list of some of the features:
- Ocean views from bedroom and bathroom
- Sustainable, eco-friendly design
- Inclusive breakfast
- Room service
- Hammock under palm trees
- Day beds + Movie projector screen
- Sunrise facing
- Picnic Hut
- Frequent views of turtles and manta rays.
When we first got there we were shocked by how amazing the views really were. Pictures don’t even do it justice. It was the coolest experience to see the manta rays swimming. You are able to see them with the naked eye but they offer binoculars as well. For the evening the outdoor area has two bean bag chairs with a projector and movie screen. We set this up after we got back from a day of exploring and it was perfect! The hammock was also another favorite of mine. It was such a surreal feeling to read a book and take in this view.
Food & Drink:
When we got there, they had a complimentary mini bar that came with delcious dragon fruit and drinks! As far as dinner they have three restaurants nearby that you can scooter too or they provide room service! We ended up doing the room service because we spent the day exploring and were exhausted! The hosts were super accommodating and so friendly! We just called the number provided and they had dinner to us in no time!
