As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, this hotel was an amazing surprise! Located in Madeira, Portugal, this hotel sits high up in the mountains, overlooking the beautiful ocean. Luxury Feel:

With large windows overlooking the mountains and ocean it’s hard not to feel like a million bucks. Our villa was tucked back away with our own private garden/patio which was ideal for a peaceful stay. Each room embodies the nature around it. The rooms are decorated with wood, green accents, and lots of natural light! Bathroom amenities are from the Lape Collection, which was a fresh lemon scent!

Unique Experience/Food:

By far the most unique thing about this hotel is that each meal is sourced from ingredients harvested right the property! Other ingredients such as meat and fish are sourced from the local farmer’s market. This hotel offers a plethora of activities to get in touch with nature. Those activities include cooking classes, bread making, or four course meals! We went for the four course meal and it was just delicious! There is no set menu, each day is a surprise depending on your allergies/preferences. This was a highlight of the trip and of course one of my favorite meals of Portugal! We had fresh tuna tartare, to dye for sea bass, marinated chicken, and lemon cheesecake!

Included in our reservation was also a free breakfast which was amazing! Featuring fresh fruit, avocado, homemade sourdough bread, and more! The sourdough bread was SO good and definitely one of my favorites!
